Edward Morgan
Edward Morgan is a freelance director and writer.  This past year he directed Hank Williams: Lost Highway for Virginia Stage Company, Faith Healer at Next Act Theatre, the Hanreddy / Morgan adaptation of A Christmas Carol for the Clarence Brown Theatre in Knoxville, As You Like It for Case Western’s MFA program at The Cleveland Play House, and a workshop / reading of his Faulkner adaptation Twenty Seven at the University of Virginia.  He has been a guest artist and teacher at various colleges and universities, and is also a casting partner for Cirque du Soleil. Morgan served for six seasons as Milwaukee Repertory Theatre’s Associate Artistic Director, directing numerous productions, including Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, A Delicate Balance, The Weir, The General From America, Picasso At The Lapin Agile, and several original adaptations.  He is a graduate of Trinity Repertory Conservatory, a member of Actor’s Equity Association and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, and a recipient of the Drama League of New York Director’s Project fellowship.  He and his work have also been honored in Washington with Helen Hayes nominations and awards, and he has written for various magazines and on grants from the Wisconsin Council for the Humanities, Discovery World, Pier Wisconsin, and the Irish Fest Foundation.
